Cottage is situated in the village of Kingston on Spey on the Moray Firth Coast
near the mouth of the River Spey. The cottage is over 150 years old and has been
recently refurbished to a very high standard, providing excellent, modern, comfortable
accommodation that sleeps up to 4 people - pets are also welcome by arrangement.
Kingston
- on - Spey was founded in 1784 and named after Kingston - upon - Hull in Yorkshire.
Dodsworth & Osborne, shipbuilders from Hull established shipyards at Kingston
capable of building boats up to 500 tons with masts 60 ft high. In the early 1800's,
Clipper ships were built here to service the tea trade from India.

ready Freeview TV & DVD/Video player in lounge. Radio/CD, board games, cards,
DVD's & videos provided. 3 piece leather suite in lounge. Sun lounge with cane

open plan kitchen with washing machine, dishwasher, tumble dryer, fridge, freezer,
microwave, freeview television. Comprehensive range of crockery, cutlery, pots
& pans, untensils and electrical equipment. Also, a comprehensive " Welcome Pack
" supplied i.e. tea, coffee, bread, milk, washing powder, local Free Range Organic
eggs and a complimentary bottle of wine.
Bedrooms Two
bedrooms — one double, one twin both with ample wardrobe and drawer space; an
electronic safe is available in the double room. A television with freeview in
each bedroom. All linen, bedding provided.

Sortbread Factory - The delightful Cooper Park with its many features including
a boating pond and Biblical Garden. From
the village beach watch the Moray Firth Dolphins Fish for salmon and trout on
the River Spey. Play Garmouth & Kingston Golf Club where our guests can enjoy
a 50% saving on green fees. Located on the Moray Coastal trail, popular with walkers
and cyclists. In Elgin, visit the Moray Leisure Centre, with pool and ice rink.
Great Kites and Gannets inhabit the area and rare flora and fauna are to be found
all along the Fife coastal path route. Changeover
day Saturday is changeover day, guests to depart by 10am, the cottage is available
for arriving guests from 4pm. Directions
From Aberdeen - A96 at Mosstodloch take the B9015 to Garmouth. After the bridge
in Garmouth turn right onto Church Street; at the hotel turn left to Spey Street
and follow the road to Kingston. Bayview is on the corner of Shore Road and Beach
Road. From Inverness - A96 enter Lhanbryde; in Lhanbryde follow the sign to Garmouth.
In Garmouth, Station Road leads to the High Street, at the junction with Spey
Street turn left and follow the road to Kingston.
