Cottage is approximately 8 years old and was built on the
site of an old farm workshop. A traditional 2 storey building.
Situated in the spectacular Highlands of Scotland. Wester
Lix is a small collection of cottages 2 miles from Killin.
It is set within 9 acres of private grounds and is less than
2 hours drive from Glasgow or Edinburgh. 500 yards away from
the access road is the Lix Toll Garage that supplies petrol,
sweets, breakdown recovery and cuddly Scotsman toys. The village
of Killin offers a varied range of shops.CLICK

The Lodge and Mews Apartments are situated beside Loch Fyne
in the grounds of beautiful Minard Castle near Minard. The
estate is off the A83 half way between Inveraray and Lochgilphead.
The Lodge sleeps 4-6 and the Mews Apartments sleep 4-5 each.
Minard Castle stands in its own grounds in beautiful countryside
on the north western shore of Loch Fyne. It is three quarters
of a mile (1km) from the A83 Inveraray to Lochgilphead road.
Our peaceful location is an ideal base for touring this scenic
part of Argyll with its gardens, archaelogical sites and visitor
attractions; or just a quiet break. The village shop is a
mile and a half (2km) away, there is a wide choice of shops
at Lochgilphead and there is a pub and a hotel with good food
within five miles (8km). This beautiful part of Argyll is
famous for its gardens specialising in exotic azaleas and
rhododendrons. It offers forest walks, cycle trails, riding,
good fishing and many places of historical and archaelogical
interest, Minard is thirteen miles (20km) south west of Inveraray
— an ancient stronghold of the Campbell Clan — which is noted
for its castle and historic jail. CLICK

former croft, conveniently situated on the Malt Whisky/Castle
Trails. No nearby neighbours, but not isolated - fully equipped
and furnished with modern facilities - dishwasher, washer/drier,
digital TV etc. Large and airy rooms - 1 Kingsize, 2 x twin
rooms (one with extra bed if required). 10 minutes drive to
the historic Cathedral city of Elgin, 2 minutes to Rothes,
10 minutes to Aberlour -all with adequate shopping, banks
and leisure facilities. A very popular Trout Fishery at the
Glen of Rothes is within a mile of the cottage. There is an
abundance of great golf courses within a half hour drive -
the nearest at Rothes - only 2 minutes away. A 20 minute drive
to the lovely sandy beaches at Lossiemouth or Findhorn. Lots
of famous factory tours - Baxters of Speyside, Walkers (Shortbread)
of Aberlour. Elgin has a fully equipped leisure centre with
ice-skating, swimming, saunas and solarium. Tennis, gokarts,

Steading is over two hundred years old and was once a farm
building at Wester Lix Farm. This interesting old property
sleeps 8+ and has been converted from the original building
to offer a greater degree of comfortable accommodation for
larger groups.All bedding is provided, but you must bring
your own towels.You can hire mountain bikes, canoes and skiing
kit at the Killin Outdoor Centre. It also supplies a range
of outdoor clothing maps and guides for activities within
